The Flathead River Writers Conference is an exclusive conference in its 32nt year. For three decades, the conference has played host to high-profile authors, editors, agents, publishers, and other literary figures... and 2023 will not be an exception!
The conference will take place Sept 29 through Oct 1 at the Red Lion Hotel, 20 Main Street, Kalispell, Montana (406) 751-5050, Option 2 and then Code AUTH929 to get discounted rate.
Attendance is limited to the first 100 paid attendees.
The Flathead River Writers Conference is sponsored by Authors of the Flathead. As a non-profit organization, Authors of the Flathead is able to offer unprecedented value. The conference offers three days of lectures and workshops at a low price.
First Impressions
Attendees who are not meeting with either the agent or editor may submit a copy of the first page only of their manuscript for review by the First Impressions Panel. Pages are to be double-spaced with one inch margins without author name. As many anonymous submissions as time allows will be randomly selected and presented for verbal critique by the experts before the entire group at the end of the day on Sunday.
If you'd like a chance to participate in the 1st first impressions critique, be prepared to upload a copy of your manuscript submissions.
