I'm a wife of 35 years and mother of 7 who earned a degree in Print Journalism in 1991, wrote news and feature articles for weekly and daily publications, as well as regularly printed newspaper columns and a few articles for the Triplet Connection magazine. Writing is therapy for me and has kept me grounded while I've raised my kids mostly solo (my husband is a pilot who deploys overseas). I am rusty but motivated to publish something, anything, as my triplets are flying the coop this summer and I slowly reclaim my life and maybe revisit what I thought I might like to be once (a writer), in addition to my roles as wife, homeschool mom, friend and support animal to many. I love learning others' stories and generally just connecting with people in meaningful ways. I hope belonging to the group will re-ignite a spark in my storyteller's soul. I live in Eureka with my husband, triplet teens, 6 cats and an Anatolian Shepherd.
