I was born in Montana and lived in Whitefish until 1966. Since then, I've lived in Spokane, Montana again, and became a librarian in Minnesota in 1981. I'm now retired and living in Minneapolis. My fiction writing began with short stories, but, in the last ten years, I've tried to write novels which are often set in fictional towns in northwest Montana.
