Membership Benefits

Members get:

A.) Access to weekly meetings, including lectures, workshops, open readings, and write-ins.

B.) Early access to our conference.

C.) Access to critique groups.

D.) Free assistance formatting their book for independent publishing.

E.) Invites to get-togethers including a holiday party.

F.) Author profile listed on the website (optional).

G.) One book cover listed on the “Books” page with a link to where it’s sold online.

The group is a non-profit. Dues also help pay for operating expenses and support writing in the community by sponsoring writing competitions for students.

This one-time registration/payment form applies to those who are current members that have not yet registered using our new online subscription/payment system. After subscribing to your AotF membership below, you will not use this form the following year since you will be notified by email that your membership renewal is coming due soon.

Annual member subscription fee is $80. You always have the option to cancel your membership at any time by logging into your member dashboard, then look under Subscription for detailed instructions.

If you currently have an Author profile displayed on the website, you’re already registered with the new payment system. When the system notifies you by email that your subscription has expired, simply login to your member dashboard and make payment under the Subscription tab and click  RENEW. There is a 14-day grace period beyond the due date to insure you have enough time to make your payment.  The system assumes you want to pay using PayPal.  If you want to mail in a check instead, please use the contact form and the webmaster will change your method of payment to check.  Member Login
