I hope you are adapting to the COVID requirements for health and safety while getting lots of writing accomplished. It's been a great summer weatherwise so the hiking is good and easy to remain physically distanced while enjoying some socialization.
I have been completing some home projects and reviewing Authors of the Flathead organizational details. One project for the group I am working on is to update our conference slideshow with all the newly published books from the group.
If you have published any new books in 2020 (or since you provided me with your publication list last fall), please send them to me via our website. I will need .jpg format for covers or photos, or Word documents to update bios or short book descriptions in a couple sentences. I need all new book information within a couple days because of a query from Flathead Living magazine and their interest in adding a recent local author reading list to their fall edition. It's a great opportunity and I want to be sure our new authors are included.
Be sure to check the FVCC online class list. Kathy Dunnehoff and Dennis Foley have some great options for learning. NaNoWriMo, National Novel Writing Month is November. Write the first draft of that novel that has been living in your head for years. Kathy has a class to help you take this challenge.
I hope you will join us on Zoom for our weekly meetings at 7 pm for the first three Thursdays and via MeetUp with Barb Schiffman and the screen writing group. See the schedule on our website. Please contact me with any suggested speakers or topics of interest and I will look into our options.
Thanks. Take care. Be safe.
